Welcome to Athenry Soccer Clubs new web site. If you have any old photos or history items please feel free to send them in. We hope to have reports and scorers for all matches but this is dependent on managers sending them in.
Club Objective/Mission statement
Athenry Soccer Club is committed to promote and foster the game of soccer in the local community, liaising with local community groups,
the Football Association of Ireland, Connacht Football Association and Galway Football Association.
We are also committed to promoting Fair play and Football for fun in our Soccer club. See our new Twitter and Facebook pages below and become a fan.
Under 6 to 10 Training times every Saturday in Moanbaun:
Under 9's: 9 to 10am; Under 8's: 1015 to 1115am; Under 6 and 7's: 1130 to 1230pm;
Under 10's: 1245 to 2pm

Athenry Soccer Clubs entrants all finished in good condition!! Eddie Fox was the top finisher. Rumour has it there were one or two dubious withdrawals due to fear of coming second to Eddie! Martin Donohue gets hat trick as under 12's romp home 5-0 in Connacht Shield. Under 16's beat Mervue B. D team score 4 against NUIG C with manager Karl mortimer scoring his first ever goal for club!

Athenry Soccer Club Annual End of Season Blitz for 6 to 12 year olds was held in Moanbaun on Saturday 23rd May. It was a great day despite the weather and attended by over 300 children and adults. See Photos2009 Archives
