Club Objective/Mission statement
Athenry Soccer Club is committed to promote and foster the game of soccer in the local community, liaising with local community groups,
the Football Association of Ireland, Connacht Football Association and Galway Football Association.

Under 9's: 9 to 10am; Under 8's: 1015 to 1115am; Under 6 and 7's: 1130 to 1230pm;

Athenry A beat league champions West United 2-0 to stay second in premier league, Cathal Fahy and Brian Mannion score. Athenry B lose yet again by a goal 2-1 with Conor O' Grady scoring from a penalty. Athenry D lose to Renmore. Under 13's continue good run with a 3-1 win over Barna.

Athenry Soccer Club Annual End of Year Blitz for 6 to 12 year olds was held in Moanbaun on Saturday 19th December. It was a attended by over 300 children and adults with Santa making an appearance. See Photos 2009 Archives
